The Biography of a Living Legend

Doing Well

Accumulating wealth is viewed by many people as a sign of personal success and social achievement. While there are more things in life than merely collecting money, ensuring one's financial success is a worthy goal for all of us. Here is the story of a man who overcame his family's humble beginnings to make a fortune for himself.

When you think about it, an untold number of developments in computer software have completely redesigned air travel and hospitality as we knew them in past years. From the little chips that regular commercial aircraft controls and performance, to the complicated air traffic control systems that safely guide planes through the sky - computer technology has revolutionized how we travel. But computers have also made the simple task of arranging travel plans - well, simple.

The man to thank is New Jersey native Nicholas Bredimus. His full resume includes effort-saving computer programs, air safety developments, and he's even involved in designing high value houses. And no matter what he settles on, you can bet he will deliver his full drive to it...

The revolution in hospitality and air travel was triggered by Nicholas Bredimus, who linked them to the software industry to develop new procedures. His career highlights include time-saving software, air safety enhancements, and even the design of upmarket houses.

And what's more, in all cases, his emotional drive is clear. It could be foreseen, of course, that with his family history he was a sure bet to reach the top. Its lines can be followed back into ancient history, Bredimus' family tree can be linked to a great part of Europe. From his mother's branch, say, he hails from Scottish and German ancestry. England and Luxembourg, meanwhile, provided the source for Bredimus' paternal line, though the family came to America in the late 19th century.

Even following arrival in America, the family retained its drive and zeal to go far. Growing up one of seven siblings, Nicholas was born to a father working as a design engineer and a mother who earned her living as a practicing nurse. Nicholas went on to live in Texas for a number of years and also spent time in Reston, VA, Scottsdale, AZ and Kansas City, MO.

After completing his schooling, he would sign up for a number of high-powered posts at many of the most distinguished and strongest airlines. Nicholas ascended to the rank of VP with firms like Republic Airlines, Trans World Airlines (TWA), and Hughes Airwest. Most important, even considering this, was his time as a productive software architect working with the airline industry.

Nick is probably most famous for a US Airways request, creating airplane maintenance programs, which eventually evolved into an "old reliable" for much of the industry. And yet this stands as just one of his essential products for the hotel business. The reservation programs he invented are on their way to stand alongside the aforementioned program in ubiquity, while his hotel booking routine enabled a great number of hotels to leverage a pc based infrastructure. He also produced QuikTix, the world's first automatic ticketing network.

Mr Bredimus has been appointed to quite a number of posts unconnected to software development, keep in mind. In his own company --- Bredimus Systems --- overseeing IT for American Express, and as the first president of an American Airlines division his career is impeccable. At present date, however, Mr Bredimus has stepped back from Northwest Airlines and from programming, though rest assured he's still making use of his skills. At present, his creativity can be on display in upscale homes employing many of the cutting edge smart technology on the market.

There are many successful business people in the world. I love to read about them and how they built up that success step by step. Almost no one becomes wealthy overnight and knowing that is what inspires me to keep working hard. I hope one day people will be as impressed with my own achievements.
